Spandex have added six enhancements to boost the performance of the Gerber Solara UV2 hybrid inkjet printer including a Full-Bleed Print Mode, allowing users to print 152 x 304 cm edge-to-edge graphics on rigid materials up to 13 mm thick; and a new Performance Print Mode, designed to increase capacity by way of a two-pass print function. In 2005, the market for digital printing in China was estimated at nearly $376 million in terms of retail value of print and it is forecast to grow to nearly $5 billion by 2010, at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of an astounding 66%. The total Chinese printing market is forecast to increase from $60 billion in 2006 to $113 billion in 2010, at a 17% CAGR.
