900 exhibitors from 45 countries on board for drupa 2024

A year and a half before the start of the drupa trade show, over 100,000 sqm of exhibition space has already been booked by around 900 exhibitors from 45 nations. HP, Canon, Ricoh, Kodak and mantoland sheetfed are yet to commit.

Qld and SA get a taste of Signage at ASGA’s Sign & Graphics courses

ASGA's Sign industry taster courses were held in Queensland and South Australia in October and November. Co-ordinated by ASGA Education Sub-Committee Chair, Damian Nielsen, and ASGA’s industry education liaison managers, AusSIP, the taster courses were over a year in the making from the initial strategy stage to gathering names at career expos across Australia and co-ordinating with various stakeholders to produce and host the content.

HP to cut up to 6,000 jobs from its global workforce

Posting ‘solid’ fiscal 2022 net revenue of $US63.0 billion - down 0.8% - print giant HP revealed plans to reduce its global headcount by 4,000-6,000 by the end of fiscal 2025 under a new ‘Future Ready Transformation' plan. There's no indication yet whether the plan will affect HP staff numbers in Australia and New Zealand.
