The Prize Book of MACtac Worldwide Awards 2006 is now available. It presents the winning entries for each of the regions covered in the event. The Prize Book is published to give visual communication professionals a great many ideas to promote their messages using self adhesive vinyls. Mobile advertising, sheet marketing, window graphics, POS materials and many other applications contributing to brand activation are presented in the Prize Book.

1st prize: Vision On (New Zealand), decorated a small car with big impact, for single seat for Parliament candidate Rodney Hide.
2nd prize: Cactus Imaging (New Zealand), transformed 3 trucks into shopping trolleys, to promote online shopping.
3rd prize: Vision On (New Zealand), recreated artwork from a scaled miniature model of Jack Daniel’s old-timer, for instore promotional purposes.

The 2006 Worldwide MACtac awards also granted small scale/budget jobs with special mentions.

This encouraged many converters doing small budget jobs, to participate and send their applications.

In Asia, three of these entries were rewarded a special mention:
Sin Fung Advertising Production (Hong Kong) demonstrated that small and light decoration of windows and glass doors could give a whole new atmosphere. They decorated a shopping mall.

Omniexpress (South Africa) decorated a fitness club in Johannesburg. The brief was to bring together sport and music, the etched glass vinyl was cut out to give the effect of sound waves.

Berridge Signs (New Zealand) did a very clean sign and window decoration for the “Toby Jug Inn” pub.
