Celebrating 25 years Roland DG Australia, wraps up a successful PacPrint and Visual Impact trade show by announcing the winner of the exclusive Body Of Work Portrait of Pavarti print and delivering over 1000sq. metres of print to non-profits.

With the organisers reporting PacPrint as a success and a vital boost for the industry within the region, John Wall, Roland DG Australia Sales Director agrees stating, "PacPrint 2013 was definitely a success for Roland DG and we believe we had a positive impact on the market with the innovative technology on display and the unique campaigns running throughout the stand."

The technology showcased on the Roland stand certainly attracted attention from visitors and industry alike. In particular the new PRO4 XF-640 was a feature product so much so that it received an exclusive 'Hot Pick' product award from industry magazine Print21.
"It is a big commitment to exhibit at a trade show like PacPrint," Wall continued. "However, it was definitely worthwhile for Roland DG this year as we made plenty of sales through our Authorised Dealers with hundreds more leads to follow up."
Two such sales were made in the popular PRO4 range during the show - Dean Wright from ADS Australia purchased the new PRO4 XF-640 through dealer AVS to enhance production for his busy print business. Gerry from Vital Signs upgraded from a previous Roland device to the PRO4 XR-640, choosing wisely to finance the deal through Roland Rental. Gerry is also now in the running to win a Ford XR6, getting in just before the competition closes on June 7 - with only a few days left to enter, now is the time to secure a new XR-640!
One of the many exciting campaigns running on the Roland stand was a competition to win the exclusive Body Of Work Portrait of Pavarti print. Roland DG's panel of judges including top executives from Roland DG Japan, chose the winner on the last day of the show, selecting Suzi Kerr of Belladonna Digital Imaging as the lucky winner of this unique print. Belladonna are a worthy winner as they seek to push the creative boundaries of print in their custom interior print business. The print will be delivered to Suzi very soon, with a full story and photos to follow.
The Roland team is also busy sorting over 1000sq. meters of print as part of a unique project that saw Roland DG put their demonstration print from the new PRO4 XF-640 to good use. Roland would like to thank Sihl and Avery for supplying the media to complete this mission, including the Sihl Quadrosorb 3526 matte poster paper and Avery 4130 for banners. Hundreds of posters, banners and other collateral was printed on the PRO4 XF-640 at 30, 63 and 102m2/hour, and will be delivered to Oxfam Australia, World Vision Australia, and SurfAid over the next few weeks for various campaigns these organisations are running, with some prints even being delivered overseas to their international offices.
Roland DG would like to thank the Roland users who attended the Roland stand to share their experiences with others. "The Roland Users were well received on the stand and had many useful conversations with customers and prospects," said Wall. "We are always humbled by our users who are willing to support us in this way. I would like to thank all our users on behalf of Roland DG for your support and loyalty over the last 25 years."
Now in its 25th year in Australia, Roland DG will be launching some exciting campaigns over the next few months in celebration of this milestone event - watch this space.
