Specialist out of home digital print business, Omnigraphics, has recently completed two iconic building wraps in Auckland.

The first is KPMG with their Passionate Partner campaign. Steven Spear, general manager for Omnigraphics comments “we worked closely with KPMG and

Saatchi & Saatchi to ensure a smooth transition from creative to completion. With 476 individual panels measuring 32.5 metres across and 16.5m high accurately tiled and printed onto a specific adhesive for this type of application required careful planning and coordination”. Spear goes on to add “application went well, we contracted DesignCraft to assist and they used a team of abseilers and the weather was certainly in our favour”. The end result was a very happy client and an impressive looking graphic that was launched to much fanfare by KPMG on the 23rd August.

The second and by far the largest building wrap ever seen in New Zealand was a similar process of working closely with the client and the agency. The Tower Building Wrap featuring “The World’s Here To Play” creative measures an impressive 23m metres across by 54 metres high. “The creative is superb which has aided in having a striking end result. We worked closely with Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development and Ogilvy’s” says Steve Spear. He adds “again the whole process was very smooth, accurate planning and management of the project ensured we had a more than satisfactory outcome. We also contracted DesignCraft in to help us plan and install”.

Both graphics are part of the preparation for the Rugby World Cup being held in New Zealand through September and October.
