The SGIAA members are holding a Forum on Digital Printing and are inviting member and  guests to attend.


It is a continually evolving industry we all work in with Large Format Digital Printing opening up exciting new markets.  Join us to hear 5 brief presentations on a range of digital printing topics and a chance to ask questions of the panel.
 
A SCREEN PRINTER GONE DIGITAL
After 25 years owning and running Screen Printing Businesses, Peter Hillier from Limelight started a 100% digital business 5 years ago. He has some interesting comments on what has and hasn‚t worked and on the direction he sees the industry heading.
 
TECHNOLOGIES
Imedia, a leading equipment and consumables supplier will update us on some of the international trends and changing markets in large format digital. What print technologies are dominating, which markets are growing?
 
TAFE
We all know how challenging it is to find young skilled staff. Ian Henstock from TAFE NSW will brief us on their new Digital Printing Certificate ˆ should be very interesting.
 
PRINTING ON FABRICS
Digital Printing really is opening up new exciting markets.  A Sydney based business, Materialised is using large format digital to produce a range of unique items, Belinda Price will tell us more.
 
SGIAA
Members of SGIAA have access to a massive library of online technical resources from our affiliated associations ˆ SGIA and FESPA.  These include technical articles, online seminars and a special ASSIST service.  Grant Cunningham will demonstrate what is available to you.
 
The starting time for this forum is 6.00 p.m. at the Graphic Arts Club, 182 Coward Street, Mascot. (off-street parking at the rear)
 
Delicious finger food and drinks will follow and with room costs we are limiting the charge to $35.00 per person for SGIAA members and $55.00 for non members.
 
You will be given a Tax Invoice from the Association to claim your GST and your business expenses for this evening.
