PrintEx11 and VIIE Sydney trade exhibitions will co-locate next year in May.

The  PrintEx11 Board and the Visual Industries Suppliers’ Association (VISA) today announced that PrintEx11 and VIIE Sydney trade exhibitions will co-locate next year, joining forces to present one of the most comprehensive shows this country has seen for the print, graphic communications and visual graphics industries in Australia.

PrintEx11 is Sydney’s premier print and graphic communications exhibition, presented by the Graphic Arts Merchants Association of Australia (GAMAA) and Printing Industries Association of Australia (Printing Industries), while VIIE, presented by VISA, is a must-see showcase for the visual graphics industries.

The exhibitions will be held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre at Darling Harbour from May 4-6 next year. PrintEx and VIIE will take up Halls 1, 2, 3 and 4 at the centre, covering a gross area of  17500 square metres. While branding and registration for the two shows will remain discrete, the exhibition space will be completely open, allowing visitors from each exhibition to visit the other with no barrier.

In a co-operative endeavour which organisers Reed Exhibitions describe as ‘greater than the sum of its parts’, PrintEx11 and VIIE will offer visitors an unparalleled opportunity to view a complete showcase of the latest technology, equipment, ideas and innovations designed to add value to businesses across the entire spectrum of the graphic and visual arts.

“We believe this will create an outstanding experience and ensure a valuable return on the time and resources invested by both exhibitors and visitors,” says PrintEx11 Chairman Mitch Mulligan.

Peter Harper, VISA General Manager, agrees, saying there are ‘clearly’ many synergies between the two events.
