The fourth Australian Sign & Graphics Awards Event is well underway and signmaking companies throughout Australia have until 16th July to get their entries in for judging.

There are 22 categories this year and for the first time the Wrapping category is split between full vehicle wrap and vehicle signage (combination wrap and vinyl cut lettering).

The Illumination signage awards have also been split into three categories:  LEDs, neon and non-LED and non neon vinyl (non digital), screenprining, engraving, router work, fabrication, original inhouse design concept and apprentices’ work all have their own category.

One interesting category is always Self-Promotion where a company which has embarked upon its marketing journey: new/refreshed website, vehicle wraps, brochure material or business cards etc can link them into one mounting sheet display.

It’s worth noting that all Award entries are on display during Sydney’s September Visual Impact Image Expo – that is a marketing opportunity in itself as several thousand attendees will get the chance to view the work of entrants.
