Hahnemühle’s Lumijet range now offers two new Fine Art papers with Pearl-coating

Lumijet – the second product line of Hahnemühle, designed particularly to meet the needs of professional and semi-professional photographers – now offers two new innovative FineArt inkjet papers featuring the sought-after Pearl coating. Even though the new “Natural Pearl 260” and “Photo White Pearl 260” papers remind in surface and colour of classical fibre-based photographic paper, they are real artist papers treated with a lustrous silky Pearl-coating for Fine Art inkjet printing.

These two new qualities will be available from May 2007. The complete Lumijet range will then comprise a total of nine Fine Art Inkjet papers offering a good price-performance ratio, combined with superior image quality and high age resistance.

Photo White Pearl 260
Photo White Pearl 260 is a bright white fine art paper with a soft surface structure and a slightly silky, shiny Pearl coating. Photo White Pearl 260 is completely made of 100% pure alpha cellulose and captivates with the absolutely unique whiteness of the paper, which enables intensive contrasts and finest intermediate shades and nuances in inkjet prints of black & white or colour photographs. Due to its high colour gamut and colour density, Photo White Pearl 260 is predestined for fine art prints with an impressive image intensity and depth of focus.

Natural Pearl 260
The new Lumijet quality Natural Pearl 260 is a natural white fine art paper, whose fine, homogeneous surface has been finished with the innovative Hahnemühle Pearl coating. The look and feel of this warm-toned paper with delicate pearl finish reminds one of a fibre-based paper. Inkjet prints on Natural Pearl 260 can cover a large colour gamut and provide a high colour density for extraordinarily intensive reproduction of coloured and black & white nuances. The paper's natural white base colour is especially well-suited for inkjet prints with warm shades of colour and grey. Prints on Natural Pearl 260 achieve an impressive, fine and premium effect due to the pleasantly discreet surface.
