Océ Australia Limited has extended its supply network to provide faster turnaround of consumables, appointing two new resellers in Sydney and Canberra.
The new appointees are Draftex, situated in the Sydney suburb of Gladesville, and Prestons Graphics, in Fyshwyck, ACT.
Product Manager Display Graphics/Imaging supplies for Océ, Adrian Morris, said the appointments would be a significant enhancement to Océ’s supply chain.
“Although we now have a warehouse in Sydney and we can re-supply quickly from the main warehouse in Melbourne, the sheer size of the city makes it imperative that this is supported by other points of supply to ensure customers get speedy turnaround of product,” he said.
Owner of Draftex, John Miller, said that his company would be stocking most popular Océ wide format and drafting consumables and would be providing same day service for Océ customers.
“This is a good alliance for both companies and we are pleased to be associated with Océ and its many Sydney customers,” Miller said.
Robert Preston of Prestons Graphics said his company was delighted to be chosen as Océ’s sole reseller in the ACT. He said Prestons is aiming to stock every consumable item for all Océ wide and small format systems and would build up to this in the quickest possible time.
“Our infrastructure is ideally designed for warehousing and fast turnaround and will be an excellent complement to Océ’s sales force here in the ACT,” he said.
