Supported by key film partners Arlon Graphics and Avery Dennison, Graphic Art Mart recently brought internationally-renowned wrap professional, Justin Pate to Australia for a hands-on workshop tour.
Justin Pate, founder and director of The Wrap Institute and Head Trainer for Avery Dennison North America, has just concluded a busy fortnight of vehicle wrapping workshops, run across Australia at Graphic Art Mart facilities in Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.
Showcasing a range of films from Avery Dennison and Arlon Graphics, Justin shared installation techniques through a series of workshops and hands-on vehicle wrapping demos, including showing installers his world-renowned Zero Stretch method and sharing insights from nearly 30 years in the industry.
Pate says: “What was really awesome was that Avery Dennison were able to bring in some of the new Supercar Blondie Collection for us to play with. I’d obviously seen these films online before, but seeing them as a finished product, in person, there’s something really magical about them: hot new colours that customers will love.”
With Pate confirming his favourite as the Satin Sunset Ride, the Supercar Blondie Collection features four bold new shades:
- Matte Dreamline Blue / inspired by the dramatic hue of Alex Hirschi’s personal Rolls Royce, a serene, futuristic matte finish evoking a sophisticated style
- Gloss Metallic Cosmic Rose / a dynamic, futuristic magenta with metallic gloss finish
- Gloss Smooth Sage / a polished green tone, with a stunning gloss finish, that is apparently ‘on trend’ for colour right now
- Satin Sunset Ride / a warm orange satin that conjures a nostalgic, sun-drenched feel, with a smooth finish
Pate also showcased how to make applications faster and easier, using Avery Dennison and Arlon Graphics film technologies, like the Avery Dennison Easy Apply RS technology, using the workshop to demonstrate the durability, performance and custom versatility of the films.
Pate adds: “This was my first time back in Australia since 202 and it was great to be here again and to be able to work with local installers on some really advanced wrapping techniques.”
