Epson has unveiled a new compact printing solution that it is confident is the perfect fit for entry-level garment printing and entrepreneurial creators ready to launch or grow their apparel business. The solution includes the SureColor F1070 hybrid direct-to-film (DTF) and direct-to-garment (DTG) printer, complete with a ‘robust set of inks and maintenance supplies to empower serious creators to bring their designs to life on a wide range of fabrics and products’.

The SureColor F1070 combines outstanding image quality, easy operation and flexible performance. Featuring a PrecisionCore Micro TFP printhead with Nozzle Verification Technology coupled with UltraChrome DG2 ink with CMYK+Wh, the SureColor F1070 reliably delivers vibrant colour and clarity. Its inks are certified by OEKO-TEX ECO PASSPORT1 and CPSIA-compliant, making them safe for apparel.
Additional easy-to-use features include automatic garment height adjustment, with the ability to print on a variety of fabric up to 1-inch thick; a touchscreen menu for ease of use; and an automated maintenance system, including a fabric wiper cassette and capping station to maintain printhead integrity.
The solution also comes with Epson Garment Creator 2 software, which is compatible with Windows and macOS, making it straightforward for designers and print service providers to translate their creative concepts into high-quality garments and products.
An Australian release date for the SureColor F1070 has not yet been confirmed.
