Hot on the heels of announcing a sales partnership with eurolaser - see Laser focus for Trotec and eurolaser – Trotec Laser Australia has been quick to step in to offer ongoing support for any Australian customers with Universal Laser systems, following news of Sydney-based Australian distributor for the systems, LST Group, going into liquidation.
Trotec Laser has an stablished local reputation for high-end laser machines for precise engraving, marking & cutting
Reece Moore, Managing Director of Trotec Laser Australia, says: “We want LST customers to know they are not alone. Trotec is here, ready to provide the expertise, resources, and care needed to keep your operations moving forward.”
Following news of LST’s liquidation, Trotec Laser Australia acquired the Group’s remaining Universal Laser spare parts and IPI plastics, which are now available for immediate dispatch. Additionally, many former LST Group staff are joining Trotec Australia, with roles including service technicians and customer support staff. The company says this will ensure continuity and familiarity for clients in the field and over the phone.
Trotec says Universal Laser system users can now access reliable support from its nationwide team of experienced technicians, with essential spare parts readily available, with Moore adding: “Our priority is to offer a stable, trusted hand, ensuring customers are not left without options or support.”
Trotec is also keen to affirm that it has not acquired the LST Group itself and will not offer support for 3D printers, which lie outside its scope of expertise.
To assist clients with the transition, Trotec has rolled out a single and double preventative maintenance package offer, with discounted pricing. The packages are available until 31 August, and apply to metro customers. Regional customers are advised to contact Trotec to discuss a tailored offer.
