Designed, printed and installed by the Richard Childress Racing (RCR) Graphics Center, the wrap for NASCAR young gun, Jesse Love’s no.2 Chevrolet Camaro NASCAR racing car was produced on a Roland DG TrueVIS XG-640 printer/cutter. Like the car, the printer/cutter is known for high print speeds and precise integrated contour cutting, including vivid colour and detail.
Although just 20, Jesse Love - the driver of RCR's no.2 Chevrolet Camaro NASCAR racing car - is in his 14th year of racing, albeit this is just his second competing in the NASCAR Xfinity series
Ryugo Nimura, President, Roland DG Global Sales and Marketing Division, says: “The TrueVIS XG-640 is our fastest printer/cutter ever - nearly twice as fast as the VG3-640 – and combines the high image quality and versatile expressive power of the TrueVIS series with our pioneering print/cut technology.”

The XG-640 deploys high-speed data control technology to drive performance, enabling productivity of 15.2 m2/h in standard mode for 8-colour PVC and 22.5 m2/h in standard mode for 4-colour PVC. More brilliant colour options are enabled through its newly designed dual staggered print heads that eject finer ink droplets at higher densities, along with the use of new GBL-free TR3 ink which has a wide colour gamut and a choice of ink configurations up to 8-colours. White ink printing is 3 times faster and 1.3 times denser than the VG3, delivering excellent opacity for window graphics and base coats.
Described as a Roland-theme wrap, the Chevy’s new vibrant, detailed wrap was designed, printed, and installed by the RCR graphics team, who use Roland DG printers and printer/cutters exclusively to wrap all of their NASCAR Cup and Xfinity series race cars, as well as their entire fleet of support vehicles.
