Melbourne-based Red Exhibitions & Displays were the first company to snap up one of the new Neschen Coldlam 1650 SW Laminators being shown on the Stick On Signs Stand E68 at PacPrint 2025, with the two new swing-out shafts allow for easier and safer loading and unloading of rolls a real selling point.
Stick On Signs Abe Weiszberger is enjoying a busy PacPrint thanks to the new Neschen Coldlam 1650 SW Laminator
Stick On Signs founder and owner, Abe Weiszberger, explains: “This product is at a really good price point and is a true ‘all-rounder’ heat assist laminator for everyday wide format graphic applications, so we’re not surprised to see models running off the stand.”
An upgrade of the standard Neschen Coldlam model, the main improvements on the new SW version – aside from the new swing-out shaft innovation, relates to the substrates it can handle. With the ability to adjust temperature in 1°C increments, optimum pressure distribution on the rollers, an integrated compressor for consistent pressure and externally located brakes for film tension adjustment, the overall performance is much higher than its predecessor….”but we’ve worked hard to reduce the price differential between the old and new models because we recognise that there is a price threshold for this type of kit, adds Weiisberger.”
Elsewhere on the busy Stick On Signs stand, the team is selling the DG Dimense, which delivers 3D digital wide-format printing for a range of unique applications from wallpapers to unique structures. Weisberger notes: “The DG Dimense team has worked hard on developing a rage of new papers and substrates that the Dimense can now print on, as well as working on the ink side of things, which offers significant productivity gains for Dimense customers, so that’s a really good story to be able to communicate here at PacPrint.”
The other primary hardware that Stick On Signs is an exclusive Australia distributor for is the Massivit 3000Large Format 3D Printing system. “There are only 3 of these currently in use in Australia,” says Abe, admitting it’s a very niche market, “but I’m convinced that these 3D printers would be great in a research and education environment and it is an exciting product to represent.”
“Even the laminator offers something different, something unique and that’s very much the niche of our business,” explains Abe. “We’re not trying to compete with mainstream distributors. We like to take on products that offer that little bit extra, so that we can add value to the area that our customers are operating in.”
