The Dimense wallpaper printer company was acquired by Roland in 2023, having been a technology partner with the Estonian innovator since 2015. On the Celmac stand, in a closed-off room, PacPrint visitors can see the first example of the Roland-Dimense partnership with a very 'Roland-looking' Dimense DA-640 machine delivering outstanding textured print results.
Here is the first example of a Roland-badged Dimense DA-640 Wallpaper printer, on the Celmac stand G68 at PacPrint. Pictured is Kimi Yen, Senior Service Engineer with Celmac. The printer uses matched media and a special CMYK structural ink that 'puffs up' with heat and cures to produce outstanding textured results on up to 64" wide media rolls at up to 1200dpi.
