It’s not every day that a company places an order for the installation of 10-20 presses over the next two years…but Vistaprint parent Cimpress has done exactly that, announcing a landmark deal to install 10- 20 new HP Indigo 120K or HP Indigo 18K digital presses globally throughout 2025 and 2026.

The order marks a significant milestone in Cimpress’ 20+ year collaboration with HP and is believed to be the largest order to-date of HP Indigo presses, as Cimpress continues its journey towards mass customization.
Haim Levit, Senior Vice President and Division President at HP says: “In a market where speed, flexibility, and exceptional quality are driving customer demands, we are delighted to partner with Cimpress as they look to deliver nonstop digital printing and continue their journey of transformation from analog to digital.”
The installation of the new digital presses will take place in North America, Europe and Australia. The new HP Indigo 120K or 18K digital capability is expected to enable Cimpress to accelerate the volume of customer orders delivered while reducing overall running cost. With advanced AI-powered solutions, the HP Indigo 120K automatically achieves top image quality while increasing productivity by reducing manual intervention, allowing users to focus on growth and servicing customers. The HP Indigo 18K adds a wider color gamut and superior substrate flexibility, expanding its field of applications
Both HP Indigo models integrate smoothly into existing workflows and ensures consistent quality outputs utilizing HP’s new PrintOS Production HubHP PrintOS Production Hub is only currently available with HP printers large-format software (see former WFO coverage of HP PrintOS here). The HP PrintOS Production Hub combines remote print queue control and centralised order intake, facilitating an end-to-end capability whereby users can remotely create orders, access order history and customer information history and track orders across their workflow, sending them directly to print systems through the rip. This sits well with Cimpress’ productivity and efficiency targets and was clearly an underlying factor in the decision to purchase the HP Indigo presses.
Robert Keane, Cimpress Founder, Chairman and CEO, notes: “Our commitment to delivering market-leading customer value is a key driver and the decision to install these HP Indigo presses —following our discussions at drupa in 2024—reflects our confidence in HP’s technology and its ability to enhance our efficiency and expand our product and service offerings. Our collaboration with HP now spans more than two decades and has continually helped us to push the boundaries of what’s possible in digital print innovation to meet the evolving needs of our customers.”
