At FESPA, Agfa has launched its new Jeti Tauro H3300 XUHS and Onset Panthera FB3216 high-volume production printers plus two new mid-range models in the Anapurna Ciervo H2500 and H2050. Visitors to its stand will also witness a clear understanding of the company’s commitment to Sustainability.

Agfa logoArnaud Calleja, Vice-President Digital Printing Solutions at Agfa, claims: “Agfa is the only wide-format solutions provider in the sign & display industry that masters every component of the print production process: printers, inks, software and services. This enables efficiencies and sustainability benefits that go beyond what standalone solutions can achieve, resulting in a powerful printing operation where every part strengthens the other: an integrated ecosystem that includes eco-conscious inks, durable printers, intelligent software, and expert support.”Agfa Arnaud CallejaArnaud Calleja, Vice-President Digital Printing Solutions at Agfa

One highlighted example of this commitment is in the Asanti 7 workflow software algorithms, which has a new sustainability tracker that is fully integrated with Dataline’s Multipress to enable print service providers to calculate the carbon footprint of each printed product, while leveraging advanced workflow tools to minimise waste.

The platform’s intuitive nesting tools further support more sustainable printing by automatically arranging print jobs to reduce offcuts and leftover material. These enhancements work seamlessly with Asanti’s Autocollect feature, which intelligently groups incoming print jobs based on media type and required print quality.

The software’s ‘media recipes’ further standardise material handling, reducing manual errors and excess consumption.

High-throughput additions to the Tauro and Onset Series

The two most prominent hardware additions being shown by Agfa at FESPA are the Jeti Tauro H3300 XUHS and the Onset Panthera FB3216, both aimed at high-volume production environments.

The Jeti Tauro H3300 XUHS is the fastest model in Agfa’s hybrid Tauro series to-date, delivering print speeds of up to 1,280 m²/hour. Capable of handling both rigid and flexible substrates, it includes motorised media feed guides, advanced automation, and continuous printing capabilities for uninterrupted operation.

The Onset Panthera FB3216 expands Agfa’s presence in the flatbed printer segment. With full flatbed architecture and LED curing technology, the Panthera is built for applications requiring high image quality, such as retail point-of-sale, corrugated displays, and other short-run packaging formats. Energy-efficient operation and smart automation features are key selling points, particularly for print service providers aiming to increase productivity without expanding their footprint.

Expansion of the Anapurna Ciervo Family

In the mid-range market, Agfa has added two new models to its Anapurna Ciervo series—the Ciervo H2500 and Ciervo H2050—joining the previously released H3200. These additions reflect Agfa’s intent to offer scalable solutions to customers with varying format and capacity requirements.

Both new Ciervo models feature optional corrugated media feed guides to facilitate accurate handling of packaging substrates. The H2500, with a print width of 2.5 metres, supports production speeds up to 59 m²/hour in Production Mode and allows for the simultaneous feeding of up to four boards—improving throughput for busy production floors. Both the H2500 and H2050 use six-color plus white UV LED inks and support a wide range of rigid and flexible materials.

Closing the loop

Closing out the strong Sustainability theme, Agfa customers can also benefit from IoT-driven support, including remote diagnostics and smart spare-part handling, reducing travel-related emissions and manual interventions. With a global support network, Agfa ensures there is always support nearby and provides local assistance through direct and partner networks, ensuring rapid response times.

Agfa printers are sold throughout Australia and New Zealand by Smartech, a PacPrint exhibitor on stand C88.
