Ergonomics is widely recognized as important for employee safety and production efficiency. With this in mind GBC’s engineers have designed a mounting and laminating machine with swing out shafts to easy load and unload films and finished rolls.

The GBC 2064WF mid-range laminator aids the operator with a control panel on both the front and rear of the machine providing the greatest level of individual job control.

Operator safety is of primary concern in the new GBC 2064WF and has been taken care of with GBC’s patented Advanced Electronic Safety System (AESS), that immediately stops the rollers whenever an obstruction is detected. The movable foot pedal allows for hands-free operation when feeding prints or mounting boards.

A variety of substrates can be processed with the infinitely variable adjustment from zero to 25mm thickness, making it the perfect mounting device for applying hot or cold laminates. The GBC 2064WF is ideal to create professionally finished applications including flexible and rigid signs, trade show graphics, backlit displays and posters up to 1627mm wide. A digital display shows roller temperature and film usage. A new pressure plate has been added in the front and back to flatten the leading edge of curled prints to provide improved feeding and reduced waste. To further ensure flat output the GBC 2064WF has an adjustable clutch and a large chill idler roller with a channeled air cooling system.
