Charti expands with second Queensland acquisition PT Store

Melbourne-based wide format supplier Charti expanded its national network with the acquisition of Gold Coast wide format supply business PT Store. The move comes less than a year after Charti bought Brisbane cut-sheet and large format media supplier Stanton Media.

“I am extremely excited to welcome PT Store into the Charti Group as we introduce new sets of skills, products, and customers, into our business,” says Charti MD David Cheng. “This expansion ties in greatly with our aim to become a one-stop-shop for all printers around Australia. Moreover, we are thrilled for this opportunity to provide a greater offering to PT Store’s existing customer-base, too, which I’m confident they’ll love.”

PT Store, based at Burleigh Heads on Queensland’s Gold Coast, is a 25-year business that services all of Queensland and northern New South Wales with large format printing supplies and services.  PT Store is also an avid supporter of HP Designjet’s full range and Royal Sovereign Lamination’s range of equipment. The company has strong partnerships with local and state governments.

PT Store owner Ray Deppeler said: “An agreement between myself and David was easily reached when it became apparent that customers would benefit greatly from the combined services to be provided by both organisations. PT Store will offer an enhanced range of media supplies, including a range of Charti & Rojo Pacific product lines.”

PT Store, now operating within CHARTI, will continue to provide HP Designjet’s full range of hardware, Inks, and media, and remains an authorised maintenance & support provider. It will also bring in new offerings such as Epson and Mimaki’s hardware, consumables, and support services.

Australian-owned Charti, established 2016, is a nationwide supplier of large format printing supplies, with a warehouse located at Williamstown North in Melbourne and support offices in Brisbane and Shenzhen, China.
