An ASIC notice says Alfresco Signs Holdings, trading as Wizardry Imaging & Signs, decided at a meeting on Tuesday, 19 March to appoint joint administrators Richard Stone and David Kerr from RSM Australia.

The first meeting of creditors has been called for 28 March at RSM, level 13, 60 Castlereagh St, Sydney at 3.30pm, to examine amongst other things “proof of debt and proxies.”

Wizardry, founded by Bryan Martin, started out at Botany in south-eastern Sydney in 1990 before expanding in 2006 into a purpose built facility in Yulong Close, Moorebank, 27 kilometres south-west of the Sydney CBD.

According to its website, “Wizardry currently employs some 48 full time staff. A regular team of subcontractors blows this out to 60 at peak periods.

“In 2016, Bryan joined forces with Mat Payne to create Wizardry Victoria. The factory is fully functional and located in Campbellfield. Wizardry VIC has 9 full time staff employed. Wizardry also has full-time staff in both WA and QLD.”

Meanwhile, business is operating as usual at Wizardry Imaging & Signs, a well-established sign business with an impressive list of high profile clients including Lendlease, Google, Westpac Tower 2 Barangaroo, CBA, NRL, Helloworld and Adshel.
