SAi, the leading provider of software solutions for the signmaking, digital printing and CNC machining industries, has added three new members to its board “to support strategic planning and decision-making.”  Dan Purjes, Edna Purjes and Rudy Baron will work alongside existing board members of the Salt Lake City, Utah-based company.

Dan Purjes is the chairman and CEO of New York investment banking firm Rockwood Group and brings a vast amount of business development expertise to the role, having taken several businesses from start-up to profitable enterprises with, in some cases, revenues of hundreds of millions of dollars. 

Edna Purjes, CEO of New Jersey-based Jolie Papier, a leading international design and manufacturer of commercial and residential vinyl wallcoverings, also offers a wealth of knowledge in business management. 

Dan and Edna (“Ed”) Purjes are also the founders of The Purjes Foundation, a charitable trust that aims to increase public awareness about the benefits of a plant-based lifestyle. Dan suffered a heart attack in 2011 then reversed his heart disease by converting to a plant-based, whole foods lifestyle.

Rudy Baron joins the board with solid print industry that stems from his acquisition of an AlphaGraphics franchise. Specializing in digital printing, mailing and fulfilment, and large format printing, Baron’s franchise achieved Gold Circle status in 1995. He also served on the AlphaGraphics Network Leadership Council, guiding their strategy and global vision.
