The Outdoor Advertising Association in the UK has announced that gross revenue for the third quarter of 2007 was £241,491,282, a 4.1% increase on the same period in 2006.

Alan James, chief executive of the OAA, commented that, “Outdoor’s growth continues with revenue for the third quarter up by 4.1%. This means that for the twenty first consecutive quarter outdoor has achieved a YoY increase. Within this figure, digital outdoor screen revenue went up by an impressive 49%. Also, the number of advertisers using outdoor continues to increase. In the period Oct 2006 to Sep 2007, 91 out of the top 100 spenders used outdoor.”
