Spandex Asia Pacific has announced the appointment of Wayne Hood, the new Victorian and SA Regional Manager.
Wayne Hood came to Australia from Johannesburg, South Africa in 1993 and has been in various sales and management positions in the print industry over the past 23 years. Wayne’s career has been shaped by a desire and passion to be prepared with the best industry 
knowledge to assist his employer and clients. He has successfully attended internal and external training sessions that benefited his career and held positions in management, sales, production and human resources. Wayne has worked across various industries including manufacturing, service and consulting.
“His experience has given him a clear understanding that a company can only be successful when it employs a team that all work together to achieve the organisations Strategic Plan. Wayne is passionate about creating a dynamic culture within the organisation through developing sustainable core values.” Wayne’s experience across HR management, sales and sales management, costing, estimating, planning and production has helped him communicate effectively across all levels within a business.
Wayne holds a Graduate Certificate in Business Management (HR) and has worked with small and large organisations assisting with contract Management in the following areas:
• Sales Management
• Sales Training
• HR Management (Building and Implementation of HR Strategic Plans)
• Developed Performance Management Systems
• Recruitment

On the more personal side Wayne loves all sport and is a keen golfer playing off a 9 handicap, enjoys scuba diving and getting out supporting the North Melbourne Kangaroos and Melbourne Rebels.
