Stahls’ Pacific Pty Ltd has been appointed as a distributor for sale and maintenance of GCC laser cutter, printer and cutting plotter ranges.

Over the past two decades, GCC has seen enormous growth in market share and technological functionality in its machinery around the world. This new distributorship deal with Stahls’ Pacific Pty Ltd signifies an expanding presence and promotion of the GCC brand in Australia.

The new RX-Series of cutting plotters are amongst the newest GCC machines to hit Australian shores. Stahls’ Pacific Pty Ltd has rigorously operated two GCC RX-series cutting plotters in their bureau service department for the over 6 months. Rod O’Brien, Chief Executive of Stahls’ Pacific reported that “We use our cutters all day, every day. The RX plotters not only met our expectations, they exceeded them, especially when it came to productivity.”

GCC has also signalled a strong push into the print and cut printer niche with the JC-240E printer cutter which is targeted at small to medium print workloads. The JC-240E features market redefining features such as the ability to print on substrate up to 10mm thick and the potential to be converted to a flatbed through the use of optional accessories. One of the stand out features of the JC-24E is the Konica Minolta print heads that can be operated in four, six or eight colour format, including the use of white ink and also clear ink for sealing and laminating print work.

The JC-240E was well received when displayed at recent tradeshows such as PacPrint 2013 in Melbourne. One of the most popular features to date is the ink cartridges that have been used on Stahls’ Pacific Pty Ltd tradeshow stands. Featuring recyclable cardboard casing, the cartridges contain ink of high-quality Japanese origin. This environmentally friendly ink-housing solution represents a new direction of ink cartridge manufacturing and is demonstrative of the innovations that GCC can bring to the Australian marketplace.

The commitment between GCC and Stahls’ Pacific Pty Ltd was confirmed by the presence of GCC manager Jeff Lee and senior technician Tommy Tang on the Stahls’ Pacific stand at the recent PacPrint 2013 tradeshow. Stahls’ Pacific Pty Ltd has already begun actively selling cutting plotters such as the GCC RX-Series as well as laser systems and is looking at expanding its range in the near future. The commencement of the Stahls’ Pacific GCC distributor deal signals another major brand name contender in the print and signage machinery industry in Australia.”
