Before Brian Pretorius was approached to join the Australian Development Team to launch the Sign-A-Rama brand and Franchise system in Australia, he had been operating his own Management consultancy under the Praetorian Banner,  helping sign companies to recognise their true potential and to show them how to take their business to the next level.

Praetorian had a number of well-known Sydney Sign Companies under his Management contract and after re-structuring their sales and marketing departments these companies once again regained their sales direction and market share.  It was at that stage when Brian agreed to join the USA Sign A Rama group to launch what was to become the most successful sign and graphics group in Australia.  
Brian PretoriusBrian Pretorius, Director Operations spent 15 years helping Sign-A-Rama Inc. grow from 1 store to over ninety across Australia.  By 2012 sign sales within the SAR Group were in excess of $70 mill per annum and 19 of those Sign-A-Rama stores had joined the Million Dollar Circle. (Completed sales of over 1 Million $’s in a calendar year).     Brian was so instrumental in building the Sign-A-Rama brand into one of the largest and most successful sign companies across Australia that in 2011 he was nominated by his peers in the industry as one of the most influential people in the Signs and Graphics Industry. After leaving the Sign-A-Rama Group in January this year, Brian was asked what he intended to do.  He said that it was time to once again give back to the industry that he loved and that as an experienced professional solutions expert with over 25 years of experience in the Signs and Graphics Industry he would re-launch his Praetorian Management Consultancy (Mach 2) to help large, medium or small businesses to re-build their brand image or to launch a new product into the Australian marketplace.  Praetorian Management Consultancy (Mach 2) would work exclusively with Sign and Graphic Suppliers, Distributors and Industry Associations.  Brian assured us that he was not looking to take on individual Sign Shops as clients as he had help to developed the best, Sign-A-Rama,  and consequently felt a great deal of loyalty to those individual franchisees.  During his time with Sign-A-Rama,  Brian was the go-to-guy for all suppliers offering their products and services to the group.  Brian helped to develop a strong Preferred Supplier Chain to service the Sign-A-Rama stores.  Many of these Preferred Suppliers have had long term contracts to supply the group.
