"In this specialised high-demand, high-quality, short deadline world we live in, this has become an absolute necessity.
"Here at Omnigraphics, our production operates 24/7 anyway, so we are always looking for ways to work more efficiently. Not only does this new printer increase our production capabilities by a considerable amount, it also allows us to produce prints in a more environmentally friendly manner.
"Latex inks are just the start though as the LX850 also allows Omnigraphics to print on to recyclable media. This is part of an extensive look at ways to work greener and smarter, not only for Omnigraphics New Zealand, but also for the entire Opus Print Group.
"The higher print quality, output capacity and environmental features are just some examples of the versatility this printer gives, along with double sided print, dual roll capability and a much wider range of substrates available to print on to (including fabrics).
“It took us only a couple of days to get this new printer up and running, and the print quality impressed all of us. Even at fast production speeds, the resolution and ink density is incredible”.
“At the same time, we also took delivery of an additional two HP Z6200 poster printers to increase our capacity further. Once again, we saw an increase in quality here too. Stay tuned though as we’re also expecting another major addition to our print suite in the next month or so!"
