For the first time in its history, FOGRA has appointed a certification partner outside Europe.
Yves Roussange, local colour management expert and director of colour management consultancy ColourProcess, has been appointed by FOGRA to act as their Australian certification and implementation partner for Print Standard Offsetprinting, (PSO).
FOGRA (Fogra Graphic Technology Research Association), is the body responsible for approving printing companies seeking to become certified to the Print Standard Offsetprinting, or PSO. The achievement of PSO certification represents the highest level of achievement of printing expertise and quality that an Australian printer can attain.
PSO certification is validation for a printing operation, confirming they have achieved international best practice under the ISO 12647-2 AMD-2007 printing process. Printers who have achieved PSO certification will be able to use PSO certification to prove to their clients that they supply a quality product.
