Conect is pleased to announce today its partnership with Victoria University to become their major supplier of vinyl and digital media products in association with Metamark UK Limited.
Conect has had a long association with Victoria University, the leader in Victorian sign industry training.
To assist in the skills shortage within the sign industry, Victoria University's Sign Department has decided to provide a “Hands On” experience via travelling Road Shows to secondary schools to give young people a taste of working with sign software and vinyl cutting and to educate them of the career paths that the trade can offer.
Conect will provide significant support to reduce the costs of materials to Victoria University so that extra funds can be redirected into other programs in the future as required. It will also mean that a greater range of materials can be utilised with in the trade school to help facilitate learning process.
