Gold Coast Sign maker, Sign Biz, has recently won the tender to produce Q150 Signage for the Whitsunday Shire Council.

Owner John Paton says,

                             John Paton with his new
“I needed to source a printer for this specific contract because the signage required was so diverse (banners, road side signs, rigid panels, flexible panels etc) and I knew my print and cut printer would not be suitable for this particular application.

That’s when the team at Colourgrafix suggested the Agfa Anapurna dual purpose flatbed and roll to roll UV printer. This has turned out to be perfect for the diverse range of signs I have had to produce.

Being a small sign shop we needed a printer that would be flexible without being too complicated to operate. The Agfa Anapurna has proved to be the right choice.  It has enabled us to produce great signs with long lasting and hard wearing inks; the speed of the Agfa Anapurna has helped us reach the deadlines required with a contract of this size.

I guess now the Agfa Anapurna has handled the printing side of the contract. I will have to do the hard part and go up to the Whitsundays and take a couple of weeks to put the signs up!”
