The Adstream workflow and management system looks set to assist the growth of the wide format market.

Ubiquitous in the delivery of artwork to the publication print industry, Adstream's Quickcut system has now been introduced to the world of wide format with Ooh Media, here in Australia being the first to install the system.

The system links ad agencies with publishers and printers to effect speedy delivery of artwork as well as eliminate file and artwork errors.

Cactus Imaging, Aussie Signs and MMT are the first wide format printers to feel the benefit of this form of artwork delivery.

Delivery of bad artwork is a serious problem for many printers so any system that would eliminate the errors has to be good news for the industry, especially those working with tight deadlines and heavy production schedules.

It is hoped that the software system will become ubiquitous in the wide format sector as it has in the publications printing industry.
