Austrian company, Sepiax are having considerable success around the world with their water based inks that are taking on the solvent and eco solvent industry. 

Upon hearing about the company's success, Wide Format Online enquired if the company was making it's products available in our region. The reply came back stating that they are talking to several Australian distributors.

Sepiax claim that they are the world’s first company to develop and manufacture a completely harmless water-based pigmented ink with printing and adhering properties otherwise only possessed by solvent inks or UV inks.

Their web site states that they belong to the Gernot Langes-Swarovski Group, a large Austrian conglomerate. Sepiax won an award at the recent FESPA Digital Expo in Amsterdam for their Innovation and Environmental work.

The company claims that their ink meets all the generally accepted performance characteristics of solvent inks with good scratch resistance, UV resistance. The inks is also compatible with most major brands of piezo machines.

Inks are currently available in the four primary colours plus light colours (CL and ML) as well as additional colours (orange and special blue).
