Colourgrafix, Agfa Graphic's Gold Coast distributor welcomed a host of customers to an Open House on the 15th of October in order to show off their new demonstration Anapurna M4F and the Epson GS6000.

Agfa Graphics was represented by Brett Turner, Product Manager of Agfa's Wide Format Digital division. Brett had flown up from Sydney for the ocassion.

Brett told Wide Format Online that Agfa Graphics continued to achieve local and international success with the expanding range of Anapurna printers. In a tough financial year Anapurna printers remained a very popular choice in the combo printer market due to versatility, productivity and affordability. We're quite excited about the expanding range which now includes the Anapurna M2 and the new Anapurna Mw delivering a white printer to the range. Agfa will demonstrate both new printers at Visual Impact/Image Expo.

Colourgrafix's premises on the Gold Coast

Colourgrafix  is barely one year old and has already achieved success in selling and servicing both Epson and Agfa Graphics products into a very large geographical area. In fact the company has already sold and installed an Anapurna XL to a Queensland customer.

The company was started by Philip Burrell and Vincent Marot, both gents having a long history with sales and service of wide format products. Servicing such a huge area, the company brings some relief to many outfits in outback Queensland and New South Wales as well as those along the Eastern Seaboard from Coffs Harbour all the way up to the Sunshine Coast. One customer from Byron Bay stated that he had to pay in excess of $400 travelling expenses prior to Colourgrafix opening their doors, now that has been reduced by more than half.

The well attended Open House was well lubricated with some imported beers which catered for the varying tastes and preferences of the attendees. The function attracted customers from far and wide.

The Epson GS6000 and the Anapurna M4F were the stars of the show and both showed their worth by producing some stunning prints at production speeds.
