The VIIE show is well supported by exhibitors and also promises to be well supported by visitors.
Running for two days, the show is part of the VIIE calendar which includes Sydney every year and Melbourne and the Gold Coast alternating every year.
Many show specials are on offer from the exhibitors including a $10000 giveaway. This prize will be given to one of the visitors who spends $500 or more with one of a select number of exhibitors. If that person's name is drawn, he/she can claim the $10000 worth of products from that same exhibitor whom the $500 was originally spent.
VISA are reminding people that the show will also represent a great opportunity to take advantage of the Government's Temporary Investment Allowance.
This allowance will be provided in the form of an additional tax deduction, equivalent to 10 per cent of the cost of an eligible asset, which includes most new plant and equipment over $10,000 which is acquired or ordered by the end of this current financial year and installed ready for use by June 30, 2010.
There are many predictions that our economic slowdown will turn the corner this year, maybe mid year, then most business people will realise that they need to invest now for the upswing.
If the VIIE Sydney show last year was anything to go by, it should be a good show for the exhibitors with plenty of deals signed.
