Sawgrass Technologies, Inc., a leading global innovator of digital ink technologies has announced that the company is introducing additional features for the Direct Advantage 1.5 Direct to Garment Solution. With the new features available, customers have the ability to customise the Direct to Garment Solution to suit their exact needs.
The additional options include: jig configurations that perform in various work environments, different software options for speed and colour output enhancements, and a deeper printer well which can handle a larger variety of garments.
The feedback from our successful launch of Direct Advantage taught us that not every customer wants or needs the same system, says Matthew Rhome, Director of Cotton Imaging for Sawgrass Technologies. Instead of providing customers with one solution, we are allowing them to build a direct to garment solution that best fits their needs.
The Direct Advantage is fueled by Sawgrass-patented NaturaLink inks, using eight-colour piezo heads to print customised images onto a wide range of garments, including 100 percent cotton and 50/50 blends. The system is driven by Sawgrass industry-tested software, designed to achieve brilliant color output and image quality. The printer is white ink-ready.
