HP today announced the authorised resellers for the revolutionary latex ink printer the HP Designjet L65500. They are Celmac (national), GBC Australia (national), CPI (national), Imedia (Victoria) and Digital Vision (New Zealand).

Shane Lucas, Director HP Graphic Arts South Pacific said he was very excited about the confirmation of these authorised resellers all of whom will have demonstration models available to customers in the very near future.

“This select group of reseller partners who will champion the HP Designjet L65500 are incredibly enthusiastic about the product and excited about the opportunity to take this brand new technology to their customers,” said Lucas.

“HP has always had environmentally responsible solutions in the Designjet range which is founded on aqueous based products.  Now with the new latex machine, which is naturally branded Designjet, HP is providing the signage market with an unprecedented opportunity.

“It is very exciting to be able to offer a dependable environmental solution to a market segment that has until now only had the choice of solvent based printing.  We are extremely positive the signage market in this region will react with the same enthusiasm as we have seen in the US, UK and Europe.  Certainly early interest supports this stance.”

The HP Designjet L65500 Printer was previewed at drupa last year. Since then more than 25 units have been installed worldwide.

“Many companies, both print buyers and PSPs are expressing a desire to adopt more environmentally conscious printing solutions.  The HP Designjet L65500 with its aqueous ink technology enables companies to uphold their environmental credentials without loss of productivity or quality of output,” Lucas concluded.
