The evening of the 30th October marked the midway point of the Sydney VIIE show last week. More importantly it was the ASGA 2008 Awards Extravaganza held in one of Darling Harbour's finest ballrooms.
Michael Punch, GM of the ASGA and David Hay, President of the association took great pride in presenting this year's awards to a gathering of nearly 700 sign industry delegates.
An impressive multimedia display for each winner was beamed onto screens highlighting the work that went into creating these winners.
It was emphasised that the winners now can now brag of their awards on their stationery, in their advertising and hopefully winning new clients simply by being seen by their peers to be an industry leader.
