Botak Sign Pte Ltd, a leading large-format print provider in Singapore, has completed a major infrastructure upgrade, upgrading previous generation Latex devices with the installation of fifteen HP Latex 830 and two HP Latex 830W printers. Botak conservatively forecasts a resultant 20% increase in both sales and production volume, with the company now able to meet growing demand for high-quality, sustainable print with faster turnaround times.

Botak already has over a decade of experience using HP Latex technology and is a strong advocate of HP’s innovation and the associated ability to support its customers with the blend of challenges they are facing: faster print speeds, more efficient production and a keen eye on the need for sustainable solutions.

Daniel Martinez, SVP and Division President, HP Large Format Print, affirms this, saying: “Botak’s decision to adopt the recently launched HP Latex 830 Series is a clear demonstration of how HP Latex can power meaningful growth in even the most demanding environments.”

“The company’s long-standing trust in HP, together with the strength of our evolving portfolio, highlights a mutual dedication to performance, sustainability, and operational excellence.

Botak is also leveraging HP PrintOS Live Production, providing real-time visibility into printer performance, job tracking, and operator productivity. This seamless end-to-end control improves workflow management and responsiveness, including the ability to ‘RIP files on the go’, allowing jobs to move through the system more quickly and with greater consistency.

The upgrade has also opened the door to new opportunities in high-demand applications such as customised window films using white ink - a growing demand among developers and architects - vehicle wraps, and made-to-order signage. With improved production speed and color accuracy, the Botak team is now better positioned than ever to take on more complex jobs, collaborate closely with installers, and deliver bespoke solutions across a wider range of materials and formats.

Botak’s decision to continue with HP Latex also reflects its long-standing commitment to sustainability. HP Latex’s water-based, odourless inks improve indoor air quality and align with the expectations of corporate clients that prioritize environmental responsibility. The proven durability of HP Latex prints also allows Botak to offer 3–5-year warranties on outdoor graphics.
