Aldus Group and Currie Group are clearly angling for a win-win scenario with the imminent completion of Aldus Group’s acquisition of Currie Group. The plan is for ‘Currie Group to continue to operate as an independent business with its leadership team remaining in place, and its focus on customers, partners and people unchanged’.

The Aldus Group is a multi-specialised group of companies that has operations around the globe. Founded in 1949, Aldus researches, designs, and develops products and services for the packaging, print and manufacturing industries. Its group of companies employs over 400 people across the UK, Europe, USA, Australia and New Zealand, with distribution in over 20 other countries.
Aldus Group CEO, Frank Floriano, made the announcement via email just before Christmas, officially welcoming the Currie Group business into the Aldus Group family.
He acknowledged Currie Group’s greater than 75 years of history supporting the print and graphic communications industry across Australia and New Zealand, and its reputation for technical capability, customer service and long-term relationships, noting ‘in this regard, Currie Group shares many of the characteristics that have defined Aldus Group over a similar period’.
The email confirmed that Currie Group will continue to operate as an independent business within the Aldus Group, with its current leadership team remaining in place.
