We simply want to recognise you - as our customers, our suppliers, our partners in print - are the future of print. This building is an investment in you and in the industry we all share.”

CEO Dayne Nankervis was quick to acknowledge that this vision was a family affair, with his brother and former CEO, Trent, by his side, as well as various other family members involved in the business.

“My father bought this land 25 years ago: so this is not an overnight thing. At its heart, CMYKhub is still a family print business and we’re going to be here for a long time more, working for and alongside you. Every investment here has been about giving you more capability, more security, and more capacity to grow.”

Nankervis also reflected on the decade-long planning and complex logistics behind the site consolidation, which included the relocation of over 55 pieces of production equipment with only a 2% dip in operational output across the entire transition period.

Whilst waiting their turn for the tour, guests were invited to participate in an interactive activation hosted by Kissel + Wolf, designing their own T-shirt or tote bag using CMYKhub’s new DTF printer, produced on the spot as a take-home memento.

For those unable to attend, CMYKhub will be continuing small-group factory tours over the next month which you can sign up for here.
