Epson’s large-format dye-sublimation printer (the SureColor F9560/9560H series) and large-Format eco-solvent signage printer (the SureColor S9160 series) were amongst the 2025 Red Dot Design Awards winners, taking out top honours in their respective categories.

Considered one of the top three global design awards, alongside the iF Design Award and the International Design Excellence Award (IDEA), the Red Dot Design Awards are an international design competition that celebrate excellence in product design, communication design, and design concepts.
The Epson SureColor F9560/9560H and S9160 industrial large-format printers were both recognised by the judges for ‘providing exceptional image quality and productivity but at a height that is 300mm lower than that of previous models, which reduces the psychological and physical burden on operators, promoting a comfortable and safe ‘wellness at work’ environment’.
The reduced height of the printers alleviates any sense of oppression in tight installation spaces, but they also feature a flat top surface for checking prints, a lifter to assist with setting heavy media, and a large cover for easy maintenance.
The SureColor P20560 Series - a 64-inch aqueous pigment large-format inkjet printer designed to enhance image quality and productivity for the photo and fine art markets – also received a Red Dot Design Award, with its sustainability performance through the use of high-capacity ink packs cited (the larger packs reduces the frequency of ink replacement by operators and cuts waste volume to about 1/10th).
Other Epson products to secure top honours included the SureColor F1060 Series/V1060 compact, entry-level garment and UV-ink printers, the ColorWorks CW-C8010 high-speed colour inkjet label printer, the WorkForce Enterprise AM-C550/400 A4 colour multifunction business inkjet printer and three Epson Home Projectors (the EF-22B, EF-21W/G and EH-QL3000B/W.
