Konica Minolta Australia has partnered with global mobile robotics leader Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR), for the Australian launch of two autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) at CeMAT Australia 2025 (stand T18), running from 22nd to 24th July at Sydney Olympic Park.
Australian launch of the MiR MC250 Mobile Cobot and MiR1200 Pallet Jack at CeMAT
The MiR MC250 Mobile Cobot and the MiR1200 Pallet Jack will make their Australian debut at the show, giving attendees an interactive experience of how these Artificial Intelligence-powered systems are transforming logistics and production workflows.
The compact MiR MC250 gets its Cobot mantle from ‘collaborative robotics’ that combines an AMR with a Universal Robots (UR) arm, powered by MiR’s navigation technology. It is ideal for precision handling in space-constrained environments and can be deployment across multiple tasks and production lines, with minimal setup time.MiR1200 Pallet Jack
The MiR1200 Pallet Jack is a next-generation AMR designed for high-speed, high-accuracy pallet transport in dynamic manufacturing and warehousing environments. It features AI-based perception for fast, precise, and reliable pallet detection and has a high-capacity battery with fast charging capability, to better support 24/7 operations. The Pallet Jack’s payload capacity is up to 1,200kg and the systems is compliant with all ISO 3691-4 safety standards
These new solutions mark a significant milestone for mobile robotics in Australia, delivering greater speed, flexibility, and safety to businesses embracing automation.
Also on display at CeMaAT Australia 2025 will be the MiR1350 with Shelf Lift This heavy-duty AMR can transport payloads of up to 1,350kg, showcasing the strength and versatility of MiR’s portfolio, all backed by Konica Minolta’s local support and integration expertise.
Manglesh Jain, Robotics Business Manager, Konica Minolta Australia, said, “We’re excited to bring the MiR MC250 and MiR1200 Pallet Jack to Australian shores for the first time. These solutions offer practical automation that can be quickly integrated into real-world operations. CeMAT is the perfect opportunity for local businesses to see their potential firsthand.”
Masayuki Mase, Channel Development Manager, Teradyne Robotics (parent company of MiR), said, “Both robots represent a new generation of intralogistics automation. We’re proud to launch them in Australia in partnership with Konica Minolta and show how they can drive immediate impact for Australian businesses.”
