Nigel Davies, now moving into his 9th year as President of FESPA Australia, first thanked Mark Brooks for over 17 years of service, including his dedication and work as Treasurer over the last few years. Davies added: “We’re excited to now welcome Adam Parnell to the Board as Treasurer. His industry knowledge, strategic thinking, and relationships will strengthen our leadership team and help us deliver even greater value to our members.”
Building on the momentum of the highly successful FESPA Annual Conferences and FESPA Leaders program, FESPA Australia now intends to sharpen its focus on industry engagement, networking, and professional development. In collaboration with FESPA’s global network and the Leaders alumni, a new training initiative will be launched to attract and retain fresh talent in the print and signage industry.
In his President’s report, Davies states: ‚We are financially stable and growing, but complacency is not an option. Organisations need to innovate and reinvent themselves continually, and FESPA Australia is no exception.’
‘It is a time for collaboration with other Associations while also recognising that our membership has grown because there is meaning in what we do. We must maintain our identity and hold true to our values as a people-centric organisation that empowers our members, both printers and suppliers, through global connections.’
