Imagination Graphics bought a Mimaki UC JV330 160 off the Spicers stand at PacPrint 2025
The UCJV 330 Series is a print and cut UV-LED inkjet printer that combines the productivity and image quality of Mimaki’s flagship 330 Series with its UV printing technology, which Mimaki says ‘significantly improves productivity and image quality compared to earlier models’.
It features newly developed ink ejection technology and incorporates an advanced layering, banding reduction system, which ensures high image ‘smoother’ printing quality at high production speeds, with instant drying and low energy consumption, making it ideal for signage, decals, window graphics, and more.
An upgraded version of the model previously purchased through Spicers six years ago, Imagination Graphics Director Emmanuel Buhagiar is confident the new system ‘will help to effectively treble production output, especially for bespoke short-run labels and signage jobs’.
Roger Corby, Mimaki NSW Channel Sales Manager says: “The new Mimaki UV wide-format printer supports white ink and clear coatings, allowing for multiple ink layers and special effects. We share Imagination Graphics confidence in the ability of the addition of this UCJV330-160 printer, running alongside its existing UCJV300, to be able to significantly enhance their production speeds and output.”
