Diversified media supplier Orafol Australia is a late exhibitor to join in at PacPrint, opening next week. The main focus will be on adhesive tapes and the specialised Oralite Eco Traffic sign printer/media/ink system that Orafol has pioneered.

On show will be the Oralite Eco Traffic system, specifically developed between Roland and Orafol, to provide dependable trafic signage and, as the slogan claims: 'Engineered to save lives.' It is adapted from a Roland TrueVIS VG3 54" machine. Live demonstrations will be periodically fired-up using Oralite reflective media.

Key to the Oralite Eco are the inks - ORALITE 5017 ECO Solvent Digital Printing Ink. These inks are optimised for  use on ORALITE reflective films, meeting the demands of both permanent and temporary traffic and safety sign applications. The specially formulated eco-solvent ink ensures low odour and trouble-free operation. It is also customisable to suit specific printing needs, offering exceptional de-cap time, nozzle open times, and rapid dry times. The inks feature highly resilient pigments, providing durability and resistance to fading, thereby ensuring vibrant and long-lasting colours, essential for traffic signage.

The printer itself is driven by ErgoSoft workflow and features and industrial-grade High-Frequency drop-on-demand piezo print head. Media compatibility includes ORALITE 5021, 5710, 5810, 6710, 5910, 6910 and many more.

Adhesive tapes also featured
