Epson is now accepting entries for the 16th edition of its landmark Epson International Pano Awards, which lays claims to being the world’s largest competition devoted to the craft and art of panoramic photography.
Fikri Muharom (Indonesia) won the Pano Awards 2024, Southeast Asia Open Photographer of the Year award with this photo of Mt. Bromo, titled The Volcanoes Theatre
The 2024 awards attracted 4,529 entries submitted from 1,105 photographers across 95 different countries. Jocelyn Tan, Regional Deputy Director, Commercial Products, Epson Southeast Asia, who along with Epson Australia are the main sponsors of the Awards, was quick to acknowledge the juxtaposition of this type of competitionwith the large format printing industry: “Cutting-edge print technology obviously helps to bring the boldest visions of these photographers to life, so we are proud to support the Pano awards again, to spotlight the exceptional talent from Southeast Asia and beyond.”

The judging panel for the Epson International Pano Awards 2025 includes some of the world's top photographers and industry professionals, including Pano Awards 2023 Amateur Photographer of the Year Merche Llobera, Pano Awards 2024 Open Photographer of the Year Kelvin Yuen and Pano Awards 2020 Open Photographer of the Year Matt Jackisch, amongst others.
