Another highlight of a busy PacPrint (20th-23rd May, Sydney Olympic Park), will be Australian-owned and developed M-Power, showcasing its ever-expanding product recipe approach aimed at simplifying a range of business processes for signage, wide-format and commercial printing, labels, and fabrication.
M-Power will be on Stand F48 at PacPrint '25
The continual development of what started out as an in-house MIS solution for an industrial printing company in the mid-1990s, saw founder Nigel Davies and directors Cameron Scott and Ambrin Begum, take on their first commercial clients as M-Power in 2006.
Founded on an intimate understanding of the increasingly complex workflows of the printing, packaging and signage industry, M-Power’s mission to ‘make business simpler’ has continued to gather pace in the two decades since, embracing the opportunities of a cloud-based future and combining deep manufacturing and software development expertise to guide clients towards Industry 4.0 best practice.
Julian Lowe, latest recruit to the M-Power teamJulian Lowe, one of the newest members of the M-Power Software leadership team, brought on to super-charge its Sales and Business Development, says: “Companies leveraging data are pulling ahead and we see a growing divide between data-driven and traditional printers.”
“Our end-to-end system simplifies sign, printing, and display businesses using an innovative ‘product recipe’ approach, which presents a library of workflow ready-made recipes that intuitively helps users to create accurate quotes, while providing comprehensive work instructions, streamlined production schedules, and precise job costing.”
Recent enhancements to the M-Power toolkit include additional integrations, enhanced usability, an expanded recipe library, and a more robust report builder. “We're currently finalizing MachShip and Shopify connections, and have developed a new visualization tool for data reports,” adds Lowe.
To facilitate the company’s growth, other new members of the M-Power team have also been brought on recently too, with data science specialist Lionel Joseph and IoT specialist Dylan Geue also relatively new recruits. Lowe explains: “Their specific expertise is helping us enhance our systems with AI and big data capabilities so we can meet the needs of our customers into the future.”
