AGFA Logo“Agfa’s Jeti Tauro H3300 UV LED hybrid printer family is the perfect solution for larger print service providers, offering 24/7 productivity and award-winning quality at the lowest ink consumption on a wide range of rigid and flexible materials up to 3.3 m,” the company said. “The UHS (ultra-high speed) model achieves an impressive throughput of 905 m²/h.

“Following the earlier introduction of varnish on the HS model, the UHS model now also comes with varnish printing at a speed of up to 150 m²/h, offering producers of corrugated cardboard displays the possibility to embellish prints by adding a layer of high-gloss or satin varnish, either applied to the entire surface (flood varnish) or selectively (spot varnish)." All models can also use white ink, or white and primer.” The inks on the Jeti printers are Greenguard Gold certified.

“We look forward to welcoming print service providers at our booth to discuss their questions and needs, and to explore how our integrated offering of printers, inks, software, training and services can fit their growth paths and lead to sustainable success,” said Koen Steert, Agfa’s head of sales sign & display Europe at Agfa.

“One of the topics of discussion will no doubt be automation and efficiency, aspects that are built into the Jeti Tauro H3300 LED platform,” said a press release. “All family members can be enhanced with semi- or fully automatic loading and unloading options for rigid media. They can also be fitted with different roll-to-roll printing solutions handling up to 700 kg per roll in both single- and dual-roll mode. An integrated camera ensures front-to-back accuracy.

“Also adding to a more automated production process – with minimal manual interventions and thus errors, as well as limited printer idle time and very little waste – is Agfa’s workflow software, which will also be demonstrated at C!Print. Asanti is a complete production hub that streamlines digital printing workflows through automated preflighting and advanced functionalities such as nesting and tiling. It relies on Agfa’s award-winning colour management technology and the latest version of Adobe’s PDF Print Engine. Its intuitive production overview dashboard allows for efficient planning and follow-up of jobs.

“Visitors will be able to get a close look at a range of packaging and display samples (varnish prints), as well as vibrant signage samples produced on the Jeti Tauro H3300 and the Avinci CX3200, Agfa’s next-gen textile printer that allows for printing on transfer paper and directly on fabrics up to 270 m²/h. Both printers cover significant media diversity and a wide range of applications, enabling print service providers to cater to all their customers’ creative wishes, while also inspiring and encouraging them to explore new directions.”

C!Print 2023 will take place in Lyon, France from 31 January until 2 February.
