Kings Of Neon was founded in 2019 by director Stephen Pasztor and now employs eight people, with team members and manufacturing partners in the USA, NZ and UK.

“This year has been seminal for Kings of Neon, thanks to successfully breaking into the US market,” Pasztor told AFR. “It made signs for the NFL draft and also for the events company Live Nation. We did a six-figure order for Lollapalooza as well. We did the main installation where everyone walks through the entry. That was definitely a highlight.

“At the moment 80 per cent of our business is in Australia and 20 per cent is in the US, but the US will very quickly take over the local business.”

The company also works for high profile companies including Adidas and Twitter.

CREATE YOUR OWN option on the company’s website allows customers to choose their font, colour and size to create their own LED neon sign, with prices beginning around $150.

“Neon signs are light-emitting tubes that form coloured lines with which a text can be written or a picture drawn, including various decorations, especially in advertising and commercial signage,” says the website. “Neon signs have been around for a long time and in more recent years the technology and advancement for neon signage has moved across to LED neon which is what we do here at Kings of Neon."
