With the support of sponsors PSP, Total Supply and Roland DG Australia, the New Zealand Sign & Display Association (NZSDA) has added three new Notable Awards categories to the national sign awards in July, “to acknowledge outstanding industry legends and sign businesses doing their thing and doing it well.”

The NZSDA said the three new Notable Awards are:

Total Supply Innovation Champion (this award is by entry or nomination)

The biggest new shift in signage is working towards finding ways to innovate eco-friendly sign processes and products. This sign business would have considered using environmentally friendly and recyclable materials, made efforts to reduce unnecessary energy consumption and to provide a more sustainable work environment. This business may also be seen to demonstrate leadership and vision within the sign industry and may have made efforts to enable their customers to meet their own environmental objectives.

PSP Mana Influencer (by nomination only)

This award is presented to a person within the industry who has been nominated for their prestige and character. This person will be influential and courageous and sets an example for others to follow. This award recognises someone who goes above and beyond to contribute to the sign industry, workplace and/or their community.

Roland DG Keith Langstone Highflyer (by nomination only)

The Keith Langstone Memorial Trust Highflyer award is presented to a nominated young rising star within the industry. It recognises well-rounded employees who demonstrate hard work, grit and determination to achieve above and beyond expectations. The nominee is committed to learning and the industry. This award will foster confidence in your employee and their abilities.
